OML to Participate in Cities United

The Oklahoma Municipal League (OML) is pleased to announce its participation in the monthly Cities United meetings.  The next meeting is scheduled to be held in Tulsa on March 29th at the Central Community Center, located at 1028 E. 6th ST.

Cities United, an outgrowth of the Tulsa area Vision 2025 initiative, is a monthly meeting where community officials from the region meet to network and discuss issues and challenges they are facing within their communities.

According to Executive Director Mike Fina, OML’s participation in the meetings will allow staff to gain more first-hand knowledge of the issues and challenges faced by communities in northeastern Oklahoma.  “OML is excited to be a part of the Cities United organization.  With our participation we will have the opportunity for more engagement with our communities and therefore, a better understanding of their needs,” Fina said.
