Marilyn Kay Andrews, Former Mayor (deceased), Ponca City

Marilyn was honored by the Oklahoma Municipal League as 1996 Mayor of the Year for municipalities over 5,000 for contributions significant to the development of the municipality, accomplishments in the community, dedication to office, and other areas of service or recognition. She served the community of Ponca City in various volunteer capacities for more than 30 years. She served as the first woman mayor of Ponca City and served as chairman of the city’s 911 advisory board making Ponca City the first city in Oklahoma to provide enhanced 911 services to its citizens. Congratulations to Marilyn on her induction into the Hall of Fame.
