Join us for one of our District Dinner Meetings! The next District Dinner is on October 19th in Ponca City at El Patio Mexican Restaurant. The meetings next week will be in Tahlequah at Napoli's on October 24, and Weatherford at Lucille's Roadhouse on October 26. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to connect with other municipalities in your district and meet your OML Field Representative. OML will facilitate the meeting where we will discuss the 2018 legislative session and share the latest League news. There also will be an opportunity to share what is going on in your municipality. Make your RSVPs as soon as possible. Register online or more information here.

The Oklahoma Municipal League hosted a District Dinner Meeting for over 40 municipal officials in Ardmore. Attendees heard from OML Executive Director Mike Fina about the new Field Representative Program as well as the Grantfinder Program. Attendees also heard from OML's Deputy Director of External Operations and Government Affairs Missy Dean and Program Manager Cheryl Adams about legislative updates during special session as well as the Community Leadership Class (CLD). OML Board Member and Ardmore City Manager J.D. Spohn said, "The City of Ardmore was honored to host the OML District Dinner Meeting at Café Alley and to hear updates from OML Staff about issues facing our cities and towns. The feedback we have received from attendees at the dinner was very positive and we look forward to hosting again next year! The Vice-Mayor and three City Commissioner's from Ardmore were able to attend the dinner and were very impressed with the OML Staff and the networking opportunities with other attendees.  Thanks to OML for a very successful event!". Vice Mayor of Ardmore, Sheryl Ellis said "The dinner was well attended with representation from our area towns and cities, which allowed us to visit with each other. The evening was very casual and provided for great conversations between individuals."
