Sand Springs Firework OrdinanceJuly 27, 2017 The Oklahoma Municipal League and Mayors Council of Oklahoma just wrapped up the annual MCO Summer Conference in Idabel. While there was plenty to discuss, one of the most exciting conversations had to do with fireworks ordinances. Mayor Mike Budge, Sand Springs, discussed an ordinance that was recently passed allowing citizens to set off fireworks within city limits. The ordinance required individuals to obtain a permit from the City to do so. As the discussion progressed, several city officials requested the ordinance. The documents for this are linked below.
